Ulla Stina Wikander

A dear friend of mine sent me this link a couple of weeks ago: http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2016/12/household-objects-and-appliances-cross-stitched-by-ulla-stina-wikander/ Although the article states that the artist uses cross-stitch designs, it seems to me that the tent stitch (or half cross stitch) is mostly used, but that’s just a technicality I suppose. Nonetheless, there is something about her work which I find most intriguing and wonder what she would do with my simple adolescent needlepoint I wrote about in the previous post! Un très cher ami m’a envoyé ce lien, il y a quelques mois: http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2016/12/household-objects-and-appliances-cross-stitched-by-ulla-stina-wikander/ Même si l’article raconte que l’artiste se sert des dessins à point de croix, il me semble que c’est le demi point qui est le plus souvent employé, mais je suppose que c’est juste un détail technique. Néanmoins, il y a quequelchose dans son œuvre qui m’intrigue et je me demande ce qu’elle ferait avec ma simple tapisserie d’adolescent décrite dans mon dernier billet!
